I want say "Thanks" to author of this article https://uxplanet.org/10-inspiring-hero-image-websites-59caac6cc155
I visited https://www.cssdesignawards.com for find inspiration and some good examples of Hero Section for one small project. And while it's a product, if we can say it :) I start searching from winner in category Products. And look what I found there:
3D Animations
Marqeta by Clay. Hero Section and all website looks amazing, it full of 3D images and awesome animations.
Faethm by Jellypepper. Simple but easy and pleasant animation of hero image leave positive emotions. I write it's simple because it's not hard to make the same with this tools svgator.com or keyshapeapp.com
With video
Greenlight by Pixel-1 USA. Small digression: Background video not always a good idea. In real life you have unreadable text for all or in some devices, because users have white text on white bg or black on black bg. Or you made cover for your video to make your text readable and now video not looks so good. Maybe we even can't understand what it's mean. On this example we see nice hero section with some animations and big green button which open popup with video. For my opinion it's very good example.
Image background
Pareto Intel by Clique Studios. Background image looks nice even in 2021. Good composition and right colors makes wonderful things even w/o 3D and animations.
Persoo by Kennymax. Looks good but I prefer to some change/replace the image to make more accent on smiling face or happy sight.
Zencargo by Together. In my opinion it's good option, when you haven't real photos or don't want to share it, to use illustrations like that. I think now-days we can find a lot of illustrations on freepik.com and use it.
Whoooa! Illustrations by Greg Dlubacz. Flat design not die! It's evaluate with using illustrations.
So for me I stopped on 3D illustrations. It's all for now. Thanks for reading!
